Tangled is one of Disney Film Production which tells about Rapunzel’s story which has been released on 2010. Rapunzel is a daughter from one a kingdom who has a gold power hair to heal someone from wound or sick.
Because of that power, a witch who named Gothel, kidnaps baby Rapunzel so she can use the power of Rapunzel hair for her own purpose. Rapunzel lives in a tower which does not have any door, only has one big window for Gothel to come and go out from the tower.
Rapunzel hair is never be cut for 17 years old, because when the hair is cut, the hair will lose the power and become black hair.
Tangled’s Main Cast:
When Rapunzel’s age is 17 years old, she asks Gothel to let her going out from the tower to see the lanterns, but Gothel does not allow Rapunzel to go out from the tower. Until one day, Rapunzel meets Flynn Rider, a fugitive.
Flynn Rider helps Rapunzel to go out from the tower and finally Rapunzel can see the lanterns for the first time.
In short, Rapunzel can remember about her childhood when she is still in the kingdom, because of the crown which is founded by herself. Gothel is so angry and decides to tie Rapunzel forever in the tower, and also to kill Flynn Rider, so he can not meet Rapunzel again.
When, Rapunzel wants to heal Flynn Rider’s wound, Flynn Rider cuts Rapunzel’s hair and because of that Rapunzel’s hair loses the power and Flynn Rider dies. Moreover, the Gothel changes into old woman, because she also loses Rapunzel’s power. However, there is a miracle, when Rapunzel tears can also heal Flynn Rider until he can survive again.
Finally, Rapunzel can return to her parents and live in the kingdom.
Moreover, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider get married and live happily ever after.
The reason why I review about this movie animation is because I like the illustration, nice story with a good message inside. The message tells that there is nothing can separate family relationship and also about true love.
The illustration is very unique and colorful. The cast is also unique with different characters which can make this animation is more real.
